Pilates for Ageing Well
These classes are aimed for men and women over the age of 50 and there is no age limit!
Exercises can be modified for health conditions and close attention is always paid to ensure exercises are performed safely. We use chairs where necessary so if you have any balance issues or struggle getting down to the floor it is not a problem at all.
Pilates offers a gentler way to stay fit and able and help with balance and control. Classes pay close attention to a slowly changing posture, balance work, preventing back pain and retaining core strength. It is not a problem if you have arthritis or have had a recent hip and or knee replacement.
I also work 1:1 with patients who have hip and/or knee replacements, Osteoporosis, Mastectomy's or other conditions such as Parkinson's and MS.
