About Christina

I have always been active and health conscious and was first introduced to Pilates as a teenager - now it has become a way of life.

In 2013 decided to bite the bullet and embark on the prestigious Body Control Pilates ® teacher training course and make my passion something more.  The Body Control Pilates Association  is renowned as a world-leading education provider for Pilates teaching and is extremely well respected across the world and I am so proud to be part of their community!

Pilates has helped me immensely with the lower back issues that I used to suffer on a daily basis and completely changed my shape, flexibility, muscle tone and posture. Having a sedentary desk job for years left me in a lot of pain and I have used Pilates to release tension areas and learn how to strengthen the weaker parts of my body. Pilates was also my saviour during and after pregnancy!

I think one of the best things about Pilates is that it is an exercise that can be taken up through all stages of life and I plan to still be on the mat when I'm 100!

I love to really develop people and am passionate about good quality teaching. I believe that every individual is very different and the focus needs to be on you and your specific needs and objectives. I specialize in post spinal surgery and hip replacements.
